With British developer Free Radical Design recently closing down, Richard Smith, one of the company's former artists, revealed some character art for the rumored Star Wars: Battlefront III game that the company was supposedly working on. The pictures were posted on Smith's web site, but were later removed. However, German fan site http://swbf3.de was able to obtain them before they were yanked. All of the pictures have a 2007 Star Wars Battlefront III watermark and depict several known characters and races from the beloved sci-fi universe.
As a result of the TimeSplitter developer closing its doors, Gamesindustry.biz reports that the Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron developer, Rebellion, will take over Free Radical's development duties.
