Tip - Bad Karma

October 11, 2010
If you didn't follow my guides, this one was made out of scratch for FO3.

Since you didn't follow my Good Karma guides, you decided to be a Bad Karma

user. That's good considering it makes it easier (Please note: I don't have a

direct "Favorite" side of karma, I just prefer good karma but I use both

occasionally.)

But however, Bad karma makes the game slightly easier, because (to cut it

short) you can just slaughter everything in your way and get keys and other

items to unlock containers to get resources (E.g. Killing the Doc in Megaton

and grabbing his key will get you a heck of a lot of bad karma, and free

stimpaks only at the cost of ammunition.)

But with Bad Karma, your job is a bit easier and you make more caps, but you

are despised by the wasteland. At a certain level, you can get a perk called

"Contract Killer", meaning whenever you kill a Good character (E.g. Lucas

Simms, Moira Brown, Micky, Senora Cruz, Brotherhood of steel knight/Brotherhood

outcast, Etc.) you get an Ear on their corpse. You sell that for an equal

amount of caps and Negative karma (opposite of Lawbringer perk) for the ear.

If you wanna go back, you can get a good start by blowing the Mega out of

Megaton very easily. When you accept the quest from Lucas Simms at Megaton,

there's two options on the bomb.

1) Attempt to disarm the bomb

2) Rig the bomb to explode (Fusion Pulse Charge Required)

You can get the Lovely Fusion pulse charge from the shady character in

Moriarty's saloon named Mr. Burke. He'll give you a pulse charge ONLY if you

agree to blow up megaton. You can turn him in to Lucas, but lucas gets killed

and you get in a "Bar brawl with guns" with burke.

But DON'T DO THAT.

Instead, walk aaalll the way to Tempenny tower, Say you're there for Mr. Burke

(otherwise you lose 100 Caps for an entry fee when you can just get in for

free) and you get to watch a lovely explosion of megaton. And a sweet suite.

Note ~ The Suite is bigger than the house, but less storage for it. However,

the themes add a bit more items, which I wouldn't do.

But now you know the simple additions and subtractions of being a meany of the

wasteland
